We are Telford and Wrekin IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies), formally known as Telford Wellbeing Service.  We're here to help people with common mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression. We offer information, guidance and talking therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Counselling. To access our service you need to be aged 16 or over and registered with a Telford and Wrekin GP.

If you are under 16 years old, please contact BeeU for support.  Please note people who are 16 and 17 are welcome to use our service, but we will ask for contact information for your parent or guardian, in case we have any concerns about your safety.

There are three different ways to make contact with us:

You can call us on 01952 457 415 between 9:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. We will take your details and arrange a telephone assessment with one of our Practitioners.

COVID-19 Update

We are open to all professional and self-referrals, please see above for how to get in touch. Our therapy is being conducted via telephone, online and video call, or face to face where appropriate.

Cancellation Policy

It is important to attend all the appointments you book with us wherever possible.  There may be times when you need to cancel for urgent reasons; we allow 2 such cancellations per person due to this.  Please do contact us at least 24 hours before an appointment if you are unable to attend or wish to cancel or rearrange a session, so we are able to offer that slot to somebody else.

Further cancellations may result in your therapist being unable to offer you any more treatment sessions. If you do not attend an appointment without notice, we may close your file with no further contact from us.  We do this to be fair to everyone waiting to see us.  You will receive a reminder by text 48 hours before every appointment.
